She was predeceased by: her parents, Arbie Carpenter and Dollie Clark Carpenter; and her husband Fred Pepper. She is survived by: her children, Loretta Caudle of Yadkinville, Tim Hicks (Patty) of Traphill and Chris Hicks of Ronda; her grandchildren, Amanda Caudle, Patrick Caudle, Scott Hicks and Gauge Hicks; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Sanner, Alexander Warden, Bella Hicks, Bailee Hicks and Brynlee Hicks.
