He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Pinnix and Augusta Shore Pinnix; his wife Leamer Peele Pinnix; and his sisters, Muriel Chambers, Bryde Ireland and Vera Hudson.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Claryce Pinnix and Diana Elledge (Barry); his grandchildren, Daniel Lee Pinnix, Sr. (Melinda) and Dana Pinnix Wiles (Jeff); his great grandchild Daniel Lee Pinnix, Jr.; his sisters, Lou Parker and Etta Arnold (Johnny); and also Bonnie Stevens. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
