He was predeceased by: his parents, Worth Prevette and Della Mae Perkins Prevette; his wife Louise J. Prevette; and his siblings, Dean Prevette, Gary Prevette and Catherine St. John.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Clonch (Larry) of North Wilkesboro, Scott Prevette (Crissy) of Ronda and Marty Prevette (Jeanie) of Mt. Airy; his grandchildren, Amanda Hart (Josh) of Statesville, Bella Prevette of Mt. Airy and Gage Prevette of Mt. Airy; his great grandchildren, Taylor Clonch, Abby Hart and Malachi Hart; and his sisters, Norma Sheets (Bobby) and Audrey Wood (Steve).
