She was predeceased by: her parents, James Combs and Beatrice Louise Combs; and her husband Emory Spencer Lashmit. She is survived by: her stepsons, Rick Lashmit (Maere Kay) of Dunn, Larry Lashmit of Dunn and Jerry Lashmit (Debbie) of Erwin, NC; her brothers, James W. Combs (Milly) of Florida, Jerry E. Combs of Snow Hill, NC and Clyde Combs (Teresa) of Galax, VA; and her stepgrandsons, Spencer Lee Lashmit (Jessie) and Jeremy Charlie Spencer Lashmit (Lindsey). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
