He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Vernon Horton and Gaynelle Dement Ray. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Goodwin-Horton; his son Christopher Warren Horton of Rolesville, NC; and his stepsiblings, Evon Foster Arnold and Mike Foster of Louisburg, NC..
