She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Merritt and Emily Rogers Merritt; her husband James Kelly; and her brother Wayne Merritt. She is survived by: her children, Roxey Wilkins and Clif Mangum; her siblings, James Merritt of Wilmington, William Merritt of Florida and Linda Self of Mt. Airy; and her grandchildren, Wesley Clay Wilkins, Jr., David Kyle Wilkins, Felicia Mangum Idol and Crystal Mangum Kirby. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
