He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father George G. Ferrell, Sr.; his wife Ada Holding Ferrell; his mother Emily Jane Baker Ferrell; his siblings, Tim (Amy) of Zebulon and Pam Moore (Gordon) of Louisburg; his daughter Jennifer Ferrell Sensinger; and his stepdaughters, Robyn Dinkel (Joel) of Charlotte and Victoria Fisher of Wake Forest. He was also cherished by three grandchildren.
