He is survived by: his wife Ruth Laxton Hodge of Rolesville; his sons, Eric (Tammy) of Rocky Point, Darrell (Elizabeth) of Coats and Cole of Apex; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Ethan Barber and Ella Hodge; his sisters, Judy Cox (Buford) of Salem, Virginia, Nelda Rose (Ronnie) of Rolesville, Faye Laxton (David) of Rolesville, Marie Bryant (Mike) of Milton and Georgia; his sister-in-law Mary Cribb (Ronnie) of Rolesville; and his nephew Ron Laxton (Marina) of Louisburg.
