He was predeceased by: his son Alton Royster Critcher; and his sister Ann Finch. He is survived by: his wife Nell Dunn Critcher; his son Lyle Sherman Critcher (Holly); his granddaughter Kelsey Lynn Critcher of Raleigh; and his brother Howard J. Critcher of Raleigh. He is also survived by nephew, nieces, and cousins.
