She was predeceased by: her parents, James Plyler Thompson and Helen Marshall Thompson; and her husband Ben Bartholomew. She is survived by: her children, Ron Bartholomew (Susan), Dave Bartholomew (Denise) and Cathy Bartholomew Batts (Michael); her granddaughter Claudia Batts; her siblings, Ralph Thompson (Sue Ellen) and Sandra Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Bartholomew, Joyce Cooper Bartholomew and Kathy Seric Thompson. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Rolesville Baptist Church or NeighborHealth Center of Raleigh.
