It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Spurling (Rocky Point, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gaston and Lou Ella Spurling; his wife Loretta Spurling; and his siblings, Ralph, Ellis, Earl, Fred Spurling and Bertie Lee Tillman.
He is survived by: his daughter Mitzi Springle (Patrick) of Angier, NC; his grandchildren, Seth and Sydney; his sister Mildred Lee; his brother-in-law Phil Humphries; and his children, Rocky Point and Tampa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
