She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy Turner and Gertie Cartrett Turner; her husband Charles Sears (C. L.); and her sons, Richard Sears and Calvin Sears.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Chenoa Sears Mitchell (Christopher) and Shannon Sears; and her great grandchildren, Michael Christian Sears, Bethany Hallock (Justin), Hayley Dubose, Abigail Mitchell, Spencer Mitchell and Kathlynn Mitchell.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409).
