He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Philips and Florence Louise Sanford Philips; his sons-in-law, Todd Boyette and Patrick Murray; and his grandson Seth Laughter.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hicks; his children, Pat Hicks, Jr. (Theresa) and Erica Hicks (Hank); his grandchildren, Alicia Baldridge (Jason), Tabetha Brewer (Kieron), Buddy Carter (Sydney), Patrick Murray, Courtney Hicks, Toni Hicks and Gage Laughter; and his stepchildren, Staci, Chrissy and Michael. He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; and many extended family.
