She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Malloy (Noonie) and Mary Elizabeth Williams Malloy of Rocky Point, NC.. She is survived by: her husband James Henry Carter Jr.; her daughter Kristal Carter; her grandchildren, Joshua Carter-Paige and D'Asia Carter; and her siblings, Lee Malloy Sr. (Ethel), Michael Malloy (Janice), Reginald Malloy, Patricia Shepard (Charles), Janice Canady and Phyllis Hyman. She is also survived by nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Mt. Rena Missionary Baptist Church (10305 State Hwy 210, Rocky Point, NC 28457). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Mose Williams Cemetery.
