It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jalen Woods of Rocky Point, North Carolina, born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Archie Yarborough, Woody and Mary Chesney; his aunt Debra Chesney; and his uncles, Adam and Mike Chesney.
He is survived by: his parents, Monica Yarborough of Durham, NC and Calvin Chesney of Fayetteville, NC.; his grandmother Betty Yarborough of Sanford, NC.; his sisters, Tiffany Torrence of Fayetteville, Vasessa Pizzitola of Fayetteville, Alicia Pedleton of Fayetteville, Desiree Pedleton of Fayetteville, Kaitlind Chesney of Fayetteville and Braden Rosser of Broadway; his aunts, Christina McLaughlin of Rocky Point and Tammy Gregory of Atlanta, GA; his uncle Rhent Chesney of Sanford; and his cousins, Nicholas and Zachary Eldred of Rocky Point.
