He is survived by: his daughters, Manda Ochoa-Rivas and Melissa Tyler; his siblings, James Tyler, Gerald Tyler (Robin), Kenneth Tyler (Cindy), Joyce Schuler (George) and Shirley Lechnowsky (Walter); his grandchildren, Shakira Tyler (Brandon Flores), Luciana Tellez-Tyler (Alex Hernandez), Damian Tyler, Maribel Ramirez-Tyler, Gary Joseph Tyler Wallace, Jeremiah Tyler Wallace and Jordan Tyler Wallace; his great grandchildren, Armando Rivas, Alejandro Elizarraraz-Tellez and Anissa Wallace; and his close friend Scott Oxendine. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
