She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Raymond Rogers and James Ola Bell Rogers; her husband Melza Allison Rooks; her daughter Elizabeth Ann Rivenbark; and her siblings, Helen Daniels, Ola Ball, Elmore Rogers, Raymond Rogers and Jim Rogers.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Melza Rooks (Libby) of Burgaw and James Michael Rooks (Barbara) of Rocky Point; and her grandchildren, Dewey Rivenbark, Jr. (Michelle), Michael Rivenbark (Angie), JoAnn Rivenbark Jones (Jeremiah), Jeff Rooks (Ginny), Sabra Rooks Permar (Chip) and Jay Rooks (Valerie). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riley's Creek Baptist Church.
