He is survived by: his children, Katlyn Carter and Matthew Carter; his stepdaughter Ashley Foster (Ed); his grandchildren, Alexis Pate (Bryce Guertin), Laynie, Kamryn, Kelsie Myers, Tyler Lunsford, Nathan Foster and James Foster; his sister Linda Johnson; his niece Donna Carter; and also, Fannie, Alvah Horrell and Eddie. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
