With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Lee Carroll Jr. of Rocky Point, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee Carroll Sr. and Alice Byrd Carroll; and his brother Tommy Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Retha Baker Carroll of Rocky Point; his children, Donald Lee Carroll III (Gina) of Leland, NC, Robin Spaulding of Delco, NC, Scarlett Nichols (Jason) of Rocky Point, NC and Crystal Baker of Shallotte, NC; his sisters, Patricia Ange of Rocky Point, NC and Diane Blanton of Rocky Point, NC; his grandchildren, Dylan, Hailey, Jada, Greyson, Piper and Hawke; and his great grandchild Roan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel (1535 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403).
