We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Carlene Padgett of Rocky Point, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Mckoy Meeks and Robert Carl Meeks; and her sisters, Ethel Meeks Moore and Sherry Meeks Hawes. She is survived by: her grandchild Jody Bland; her great grandchild Jaxon Vernon; her husband Orbin Wayne Padgett; her daughter Amanda Kay Padgett Bland; her grandchildren, Cami Bland Vernon (Hunter) and Jody Wayne Bland; her nephews, Carl "Riv" Ezzell, Chris Moore and Darren Hawes; and her niece Sharon Rowell. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Carlene had asked that donations be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401 or to a charity of one's choosing.
