She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Walston and Lorraine Galloway Walston. She is survived by: her children, Gina Rouse (Shane) and Jamie Bullock; her grandchildren, Lilah Rouse of Minnesota, Will Rouse (Alysa) of La Grange and Cora Rouse (Braden Gregory) of Texas; her great grandchildren, Winston Rouse of La Grange, Allen Rouse of La Grange, Anthony Rouse of La Grange and Colt Gregory of Texas; her close friend William Reginald Edwards of Whitakers; and her brother Bobby Walston (Evelyn) of Tarboro. She is also survived by many extended family members and dearest friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park (4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
