She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hubert and Elsie S. Boone. She is survived by: her husband Mel Strickland; her daughters, Robin Willams of Red Oak and Amy Bennett of Raleigh; her sons-in-law, Todd Williams and Sean Bennett; and her grandchildren, Anne Claire Houck of Bangor, Whitaker Bennett of Raleigh and Cooper Williams of Red Oak.
