He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Williams, Sr. and Audrey Coates Williams; his brothers, Edward Williams, Walter Williams, Jr. and Johnny Williams; and his great-nephew Andre Washington.
He is survived by: his brother Wallace Williams of Franklin, Virginia; his daughter Loretta Riddick Garris (Robert) of Chesapeake, Virginia; his sisters-in-law, Ella Mae Williams and Mary Williams of Suffolk, Virginia.; his close friend Ernestine Lyons; and also Michael Riddick (Glennis) of Waldorf, Maryland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the T. E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home (405 Johnson Ave, Suffolk, VA 23434). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
