He was predeceased by: his father Elbert Eugene Taylor. He is survived by: his mother Faye Shearin Taylor of Rocky Mount; his aunts and uncles, Charlie (Jan Shearin), Ray (Jean Taylor), Margaret Shearin West of Nashville, Tony (Shirley Shearin), David (Vicki Shearin) and Barbara Berry of Williamsburg; and his cousins, Roger Newsome of Rocky Mount and Becky Gaskins of Atlantic Beach.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak View Baptist Church (2412 Arlington St, Rocky Mount, NC 27801). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oak View Baptist Church.
