He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Norfleet, Jr. and Rosa Lee Anderson Norfleet. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Cowan Anderson of Rocky Mount, NC; his children, Rasso L. Anderson of Orange, NJ, James E. Anderson of Greenville, NC, Jaquan Anderson of Rocky Mount, NC, Willie Lee Anderson of Rocky Mount, NC, Robert Anderson of Kings Street, SC, Jewel Anderson of Celara, AL and Latresa A. Beck of Rocky Mount, NC; his stepdaughter Jeanette McCoy of Teaneck, NJ; and his siblings, Wilbert Anderson of Raeford, NC, Peggy Myatt of Brooklyn, NY, Brenda Harrell of Raleigh, NC and Emma Norfleet of Accokeek, MD. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
