She was predeceased by: her husband Talmadge Louis; her parents, Herbert Bowden and Addie Bowden; her grandson Brandon Braswell; her siblings, Eloise Hux, Billy Bowden and Pete Bowden; and her daughters-in-law, Dianne Braswell and Betty Braswell.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Braswell of Castalia, Richard Braswell (Laura) of Castalia, Tim Braswell of Castalia, James Braswell (Beth) of Castalia and Nancy Thompson (Gary) of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Teresa Kost, Sarah Hill, Kimberly Brittingham, Michael Thompson, Travis Thompson, Ashleigh Thompson, Brandi Kost, Skylar Kost, Heather Bunn, William Allen Braswell and Michael Braswell; her great grandchildren, Elijah Brittingham, Siera Kost, Katylyn Brittingham, Annie Kost, Gregory Kost, Victoria Hill, Tyler Bunn, Emma Bunn, Hailey Bunn and Adam Braswell; her great great grandchildren, Lux, Elena, Franklin and Ezra; and her sisters, Anna Baines of Spring Hope and Jeannette Dunnavant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
