He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Daniels and Leitha Harrell Daniels; his wife Patricia Margo Daniels; and his siblings, Shirley Jean Daniels Boseman, Rosa Lee Daniels Pittman, Robert Earl Daniels, William Ike Daniels, Sr. and Billy Ray Daniels.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Daniels (Missy) of Red Oak, Dawn Crocker (Ron) of Tarboro and Sandra "Sandy" Adams of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Brittany Daniels of Hawaii, Josh Daniels of Rocky Mount, Matthew Daniels of Red Oak, Tyler Adams, Trent Adams of Spring Hope and Ashley Crocker (Nick) of Havelock; his great grandchild Sophia; and his close friend John Hickey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and good friends.
