With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Wayne Joyner (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Harrison Joyner and Pauline Turner Joyner; and his parents-in-law, Obie Cressman and Wayne Cressman. He is survived by: his wife Winifred Cressman Joyner; his daughter Raven Edwards (David) of Kinston; his grandsons, Parker Edwards and Seth Edwards; his sisters, Rachel J. Pollard, Patsy J. Land and Gail J. House (Danny); and his sister-in-law Laurie Cressman (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
