He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Coolidge Snead, Sr. and Dorothy Page Whittemore Snead; and his brother Floyd Coolidge Snead, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Rawlins Snead; his children, Jason Bryant Snead (Jessica) and Susan Snead Webb (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Simon James Snead, Clara Juliet Snead, Joseph Eli Webb, Rebekah Lynn Webb and Sarah Grace Webb. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and good friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Arlington Baptist Church (1500 Bethlehem Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27803). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery (3691 Hayes Mill Rd, Boydton, VA 23970).
