She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Douglas Lamm and Sally Matthews Lamm; her husband Lantis Spain; her daughter Betty Jordan; and her siblings, Gertrude Skinner, Christine Lucas and Elmo Lamm.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Spain (Brenda) of Battleboro and Debbie Sullivan (Marshall) of Spring Hope; her son-in-law Norman Jordan of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Wayne Sullivan (Crystal), Christy Spain, Robbie Spain (Lynn), Matthew Sullivan, Norma Irwin (Michael) and Joe Jordan (Vonne); and her sister Helon Pitts. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
