She was predeceased by: her parent Cleo Maude Collins; her husband Arthur Ray Hayes; and her brother Alton Viverette. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Holt (Mike) and Katherine Abel (Buck); and her granddaughter Kristen Abel (Trey Perry). She is also survived by her family and pets.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park (4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
