We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2023, at the age of 98, Miley Murray Braswell (Rocky Mount, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oscar Murray and Mary Malissia Baines Murray; her husband Willard Clifton Braswell, Sr.; and her siblings, Rotha White, Leonard, Bruce, Phillip and Kenny Murray.

She is survived by: her children, Willard Clifton "Cliff" Braswell, Jr. of Chocowinity, Amy Braswell Boyd (Jerry) of Youngsville, Jane Braswell Green and Wilkesboro; and her grandchildren, Kevin Green, Scott Braswell, Leigh Braswell Bond, Kelli Braswell Simpson, Chris Boyd and Megan Boyd Jack. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mike's memory to First Presbyterian Church of Rocky Mount, 153 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804, or charity of one's choice.
