Michael Avery Wise Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Avery Wise (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Brown Wise and Rudy Lee Gardner Wise; his wife Mary Lancaster Wise; and his brother Cletis Wise. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Manning (Wayne) and Michael Wise (Stacey); his grandchildren, Jack Bohn, Hannah Bowling (Matt), Caroline Browning, Ian Manning and Grace Manning; his great grandchild Miller Bowling; and his sisters, Darlene Smith and Anna Mae Mullins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park (4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
