He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph S. Strickland and Margaret B. Strickland; and his wife Sylvia B. Strickland. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Willams of Red Oak and Amy Bennett of Raleigh; his sons-in-law, Todd Williams and Sean Bennett; his granddaughter Anne Claire Houck (Jon) of Bangor, ME; his children-in-law, Whitaker Bennett of Raleigh and Cooper Williams of Red Oak; and also, Thomas, Phyllis, Linda, John, Kyle and Steve.
