He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Linwood Garner and Elizabeth Cooke Garner. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Adkins Garner; his daughter Brandy Mcleod; his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Keeter and Susan Everette (Grant); his grandchildren, Ada Catherine Everette, Anna Everette, Emma Everette, Jordan Clay, Dylan Clay, Ayden Jenkins, Tristan Mcleod and Jasper Mcleod; and his siblings, Carl Garner (Sue), Joanie Garner Ferguson (Donald) and Mary Jane Garner Clay (Jimmy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
