She is survived by: her husband Bennett Berry Lewis of Rocky Mount; her children, Lisa Lewis Pridgen (Wayne), Bennett Berry Lewis and Amanda Lewis Evans (Mark); her grandchildren, David Pridgen (Nikki), Marisa Pridgen, Jacob Pridgen, Tommy Evans and Seth Evans; and her siblings, John Emmett Dew (Amy), Bonnie Dew Salmon (Lester) and Peggy Dew Bingham (Dan).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West Edgecombe Baptist Church (13821 NC-43, Rocky Mount, NC 27801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park (4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
