She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Keene and Nettie Keene; and her husband William Dawson Whitehurst (Bill). She is survived by: her children, Beverly Whitehurst Lynn (Larry) and Ernest Kenan Whitehurst (Sherry) of Ft. Myers, FL; her granddaughter Kimberly Keene Lynn; and her brother Gareth Keene (Frances) of Goldsboro, NC.
