She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Behrendt and Helen Holmes Behrendt; her husband Marvin Ray Patterson; and her son Kenneth Patterson. She is survived by: her children, Alton "Ray" Patterson (Elaine) of Rocky Mount and Donna Patterson Bragg of Rocky Mount; her siblings-in-law, Betty Marie Pugh and Mick Patterson; her close friend Dusty; her grandchildren, Lorie Ward (Tim), Leslie Williams (Alvin), Michael Steven Bragg (Ashley) and Dylan Patterson (Bethany); her great grandchildren, Madalyn High, Damien, Jakob Cadena, Kyleigh, Ty Bragg, Tatum and Hayes Patterson; and her great great grandchild Ezra King.
