We bid farewell to Margaret Louise Fulton Burton of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, born in Wapello, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 29, 2024 at the age of 81. Margaret Louise Fulton touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Cloyd "Bing" Fulton and Darlene Fulton Smith; her husband George Albert Burton, Jr.; and her stepfather Thomas Walton Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Bethany Burton Tharin (John) of Rocky Mount, George Albert Burton, III (Mary) of Framingham, MA and John Bynum Burton (Danielle) of Ansonia, CT; her grandchildren, Ellen Burton (Alex), Amelia Burton, Gracie Byrd Tharin, Will Tharin, Samantha Burton and Hailey Burton; and her siblings, Debra Ann Dalton (Jessie), Tina Marie Smith, Dorothy Smith LaMance (Robert) and Thomas Walton Smith, Jr. (Alice). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pineview Cemetery (761 W Raleigh Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27801).
