She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl Brake and Margaret Burges Brake; and her brother Julian David Brake. She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Luther "Bob" Brake, Sr. (Janice), James Earl "Jimmy" Brake (Betty) and John Thomas Brake; her friend Kay Hargrove; her sisters-in-law, Audrey and Nancy; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Margaret Epley (Derek), Robert Luther Brake, Jr. (Mary Elizabeth), Melissa Brake Plummer (Tripp), James Christian Brake (Chelley), Alston Brake Cobourn (Eric), Charles Burges Brake and Benjamin Thomas Brake (Kelley). She is also survived by six great-nephews and one great-niece.
