It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Williams (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Edward Williams and Hazel Mae Little Williams; his wife Mecie Elizabeth Ward Williams; and his brothers, Edward Williams, Donald Williams and Bobby Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Chadwick (Robert) of Rocky Mount and Victoria Lawing (Arnold) of Maryland; his sister Charlotte Williams (Howard); his grandchildren, Christie Joyner (Johnny) and Melissa Causey (Boo); his great grandchildren, Maigon Joyner, Tyler Joyner, Evan Joyner, Emma Webb, Jayci Webb and Ally Causey; his great great grandchild Gabby Altizer; and his close friend Judy Cooke.
