Linda P. Ward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda P. Ward of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Pope and Earldeen Pittman Pope. She is survived by: her husband Leonard D. Ward; her children, Deana (Ward), Rhadans (Rick) of Acworth, Georgia and John D. Ward (Betty) of Farmville; her grandchildren, Dalton, Dylan Rhadans of Acworth, Georgia, Tyler and Jered Ward of Farmville; and her siblings, Sherry Pope Leonard and Johnny Pope of Rocky Mount.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Davis-Little Funerals (2129 Lawrence Cir, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Falls of Tar Primitive Baptist Church, 5332 Sykes Road, Nashville, NC 27856.
