He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Langley; his siblings, Odie, Otha, John, Percy, Joseph, Sid, Floyd Langley, Katie Whitley, Bessie Langley, Daisey Mae Jenkins and Bertha Elkins; and his stepdaughter Billie Sloop.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Bob Reid (Lynn) and Kitty Etheridge (Fred); and his sisters, Doris Fisher and Eleanor Yates. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
