It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leigh Pope (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Rick Pope; her children, Forrest Hinton (Ashley) of Durham, Christian Watson (Kyle) of Scotland Neck and Garrett Hinton of Rocky Mount; her father Randolph Daniel of Battleboro; her brother Randy Daniel (Cathy) of Wilson; her grandchildren, Darcy, Beau and Wolfgang Watson; and her mother-in-law Mary Pope of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by relatives and family friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the NorthSide Church (1660 Beaver Pond Dr, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A reception was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
