She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stephen Eason, Sr. and Prudy Magnolia Peace Eason; her significant other Lawrence Washington "L. W." Farmer; her child Tresa Lynn Farmer; her siblings, John Stephen Eason, Jr., William Taft Eason, Esther Mae Eason and Ellen Estelle Eason Green; and her sister-in-law Catherine Garris.
She is survived by: her husband William Monroe Lindsey; her daughters, Bonnie Farmer Winstead (Todd) and Tracy Farmer Shearin (Keith); her siblings, Earnest Eason (Sharon), Mary Alice Maier, Ann Hayes, Brenda Brewer (Peaches) and Leona Pridgen; her sister-in-law Theresa Eason; her sister Annie Bartholomew; and her nieces and nephews, Aubrey Farmer (Kathy), Mike Farmer (Cathy), Susie Coggins (Don) and Bill Lindsey (Lisa). She is also survived by children that lovingly called her MeMe J; and a wealth of treasured nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed organizing blood drives, charity auctions and golf tournaments to help raise money for a variety of needs in the community.
