She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herndon and Ruth Herndon; her sister Patsy Ferguson; and her brother-in-law Charles Ferguson. She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Ruth Hamrick (Jack) and Laura Hamrick (Chris); her husband Frank Hamrick; her children, Frank Hamrick, Jr. (Dawn) and Christy Hamrick; her siblings, Teresa Hedgepeth (Jeff) and William Herndon (Faye); her grandchildren, Abigail Dixon (Micah), John Heim (Catie), Jordan Hamrick (Summersby), Graham Hamrick, Luke Hamrick (Erin), Aubrey Hamrick, Christian Hamrick, Stella Schank and Eliza Schank; and her great grandchildren, Sloane Dixon, Wells Dixon, Theodore Dixon, Amelia Heim, Gwyneth Heim, Wren Hamrick and Conor Hamrick.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Englewood Baptist Church (1350 S Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27803). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
