She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Harvey Claypoole, Sr. and Agnes Scott Claypoole Slizewski; and her brothers, Kevin Claypoole and Gary "Pete" Claypoole. She is survived by: her children, David Duke of Rocky Mount and Brandy Duke of Raleigh; her grandson Andrew "Drew" Davis Duke; her stepgrandson Dylan Sauls (Lyndsey); and her siblings, Frank "Frankie" Harvey Claypoole, Jr., Sherry Williams and Debbie Marlow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
