She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Finney and Huldah Massey Finney; her husband Copeland; her siblings, Crawford Finney, Frances Gray, Lt. Frank M. Finney, James A. Finney, John Finney and Annie Ruth Finney; her son James Gordon Jared; and her great grandchildren, Addison Ladd, Hannah Grace and Elijah James Knight.
She is survived by: her son Steve (Regina); her grandchildren, Julie Demilio, Dr. Wendy Knight (Jim), Rich Jared (Jennifer), Gary Jared and Kelsey Hergert; her great grandchildren, Malaki Bailey (Gaby), Johanna Bailey, Alessandra Jean, Sophia Demilio, Ella, Jack Knight, Evelyn and Molly Jared; and her great great grandchild Stella Quinn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Nash Hospice and Palliative Care, 2416 Professional Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804, in Jean's memory.
