We bid farewell to Imogene Jared in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 8, 2025 at the age of 98. Imogene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Finney and Huldah Massey Finney; her husband Copeland; her siblings, Crawford Finney, Frances Gray, Lt. Frank M. Finney, James A. Finney, John Finney and Annie Ruth Finney; her son James Gordon Jared; and her great grandchildren, Addison Ladd, Hannah Grace and Elijah James Knight.
She is survived by: her son Steve (Regina); her grandchildren, Julie Demilio, Dr. Wendy Knight (Jim), Rich Jared (Jennifer), Gary Jared and Kelsey Hergert; her great grandchildren, Malaki Bailey (Gaby), Johanna Bailey, Alessandra Jean, Sophia Demilio, Ella, Jack Knight, Evelyn and Molly Jared; and her great great grandchild Stella Quinn.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crest Lawn Funeral Home (800 W Jackson St, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Nash Hospice and Palliative Care, 2416 Professional Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804, in Jean's memory.
