He was predeceased by: his parents, Gidd Harper and Valeria Edwards Harper. He is survived by: his wife Joy Lamm Harper; his children, David Wayne Harper of Spring Hope and Wanda Harper Sohn (Mike) of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Brad Dickens (Katie), Elizabeth Harrell (Austin), Jessica Logan (Joshua) and Caitlyn Sohn; his great grandchild Lorelai Dickens; his siblings, Bobby Harper of Youngsville and Eddye Meyers of Rocky Mount; and his mother-in-law Josephine Lamm. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
The military honors will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Battleboro Cemetery, Cemetery. A reception will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
