She was predeceased by: her parents, James Royse and Eva Emily Royse; her husbands, James E. Bolar and Jerry L. Reed; and her siblings, Claude Royse, Fred Royse, James Lewis "Junior" Royse, Clarence Royse, Thelma Brodt, Alma Lewis Wilson and Jeanette Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Bolar Vanlandingham of Kentucky, Debbie Holcomb of Kentucky, Donna Gardner (Steve) of Rocky Mount, Shirley Bolar of Rocky Mount and Jeremy Reed of Rocky Mount; her siblings, Wayne Fannin (Charlotte) of Kentucky, Emerson Fannin (Lola) of Kentucky and Carol Gibb (Harry) of Virginia; her close friends, Randy and Cathy Langston; her grandchildren, Greg Forman (Cathy), Kerri Stanfield (Matt), Dennis Northcutt (Jill), Chris Northcutt (Crystal), Amber Botkin and Jason Browning (Amy); and her great grandchildren, Emily, Megan Huber, Whitney Botkin, Luke and Clara Forman.
